Movie Review

Six reasons why this movie kicks ass:

1.  Lead character kicks ass and doesn't take names.

2.  Lots of fight scenes that would make Jackie Chan cringe.

3. The leading lady is hot.

4.  The cover art for the DVD displays what quite possibly could be the coolest action pose ever.

5.  The leading lady is hot.

6.  In the previews Jason Statham deflects a rocket that was fired at him with a serving tray.  Tea-time bitches!

This movie is the pinnacle of action decadence.  It has a lot of fast action sequences and requires minimal thought.  Aside from the actions there are funny bits here and there.  The plot is pretty much the same generic action plot that you're seen a thousand times before but Statham's brand of action and some of the other supporting actors make this movie stand out from the others.  If you have never seen this movie before and you like a good action flick check this one out.

No question about it, 'action decadence' and 'minimal thought'. (Actually, the term 'action decadence' is a good one). And that cover picture is what got me to rent this one in the first place.
